Eggs are a POTENTIAL they are obsolete until fertilized and then the POTENTIAL is engaged for a MIRACLE, the birth of a new life. I look at my IDEAS-IN-PROGRESS as POTENTIALS. My egg came to me on 9MAY07 and it just so happened to meet me during a time in my life where I have chosen what I think to be the best of my IDEAS-IN-PROGRESS currently, and I am at a halfway point in these POTENTIALS. Just like eggs ideas are obsolete in the real world unless acted on then they become a potential and if presented correctly only IF the POTENTIAL is great enough REAL WORLD SUCCESS is accomplished in my eyes. See I am working on a capstone video that is pushing technology by using stereoscopic video. Next I am developing a new device technology parallel to my video called "PIPE" this machine is adding 3 timelines to the normal convention of video and audio timelines. The other timelines are olfactory, temperature, and humidity. I extremely enjoy working directly on my video and my PIPE, but its nestled into my life in between things like working two positions within and not within my field of study, making time for my family & girlfriend, and maintaining material possessions. These things are all needed in my life, but my CEREBRAL COMPOSITE OUTBURSTS aka POTENTIALS are so much fun and need to be practiced. Every little island on time I get to work on my POTENTIALS seems as an isolated celebration.
That is a picture of my egg within the graphic composite. I have the egg in my fridge at my apartment and after this December 8th (My video and device premiere) I will take the egg out which represents real world success and I will blend it in a blender to celebrate an IDEA-IN-PROGRESS transform into REAL WORLD SUCCESS.
As I listened to my two selected songs the Unforgiven and The Unforgiven II I wrote out sequences that played out in my head. Certainly as the songs have their own art direction my thoughts did also. The phrases in the flash .swf are animated to how they felt tome as well as the image described. This is a really good way to brainstorm I found. I didn't have to strain to think of my great sequences I could let the faucet flow.
