Higher Center Piece

Art Principals and elements combine with technology to create to be what I think of as some of the most important forms of art. After mastery of design principals of color, line, shape etc.... the next step is stratagies in becoming compelling such as visual hiearchy and using new mediums. Samuel Bayer the director of the Metallica music video "Until it Sleeps" shows here a mastery of art principals, art direction, and technology.
Now by using the presence and powerful nature of Metallica as a center piece. So what is being said is the table is set the food is there and



all eyes are are on the center piece being wispered to by the rest of the surroundings.

My first impression from the music video was "Wow what a setting for such a compelling stentorian of a song" Metallica as human beings compel me to be what I am capable of.





The overbearing song is complemented with overbearing visuals. Each still image from the video is a work of art.

A lot of metaphors and bizzare visuals cause for a eye and ear feast from this music video.

Wisdom or Survival you choose....

When I started college back in 2003 at purdue I would have to drive 1.5hours to school and back every day. I did a lot of pondering in that old jeep driving so much. Here are some quotes from my ponderance.

~ First identify a peaceful solution to conflict then predict a reaction to the solution then make a solution to that reaction next predict a reaction to this solution….the secret to being one step ahead.

~ If a loved one favors talking then listen to them with consideration, and if a loved one favors silence listen to them with consideration....

~ When you speak with wisdom slow down and give it the clarity and thoroughness that it deserves.

~ If neither side of an argument is evil they are all correct through divine eyes…

~ The function of life is sex and the meaning of life is love…..

~ You need proof that the meaning of life is love without hearing “we are here for God to enjoy us and to enjoy him”?! Well, do you know of any other thing that all humans have always sought in some form, and few has ever given up. Such as Love

Heathens raise Successful offspring.
Successful offspring raise Conformist Offspring
Conformist Offspring raise Heathens.

~ If we are a mind, body, and soul, here on earth love can only be applied to mind and body. The love of God spans the Soul, a different form of deeply rooted love.

~ Perception is more valuable if not used to predict what should happen, but rather what is happening.

~ If you receive a good feeling from someone analyze why this made you feel good, and duplicatethis act.

~ To avoid a temptation in your weakest conditionis to earn one up on it.

~ Love whom that love you because that is where contentment lives.

~ One secret to advancing is to not show off because a flower can bloom without making a peep only want to be great and ignore the bellows of the foolish.

~ You can assume a lot about a man by what he has in his pockets, but you cannot assume anything about a women unless you know what is in her mind.

~ Many go about their day doing the same thing over time it looks like waiting………..? What are they waiting for? Seize every day as your last NOW! (die creatively!!)

The Fall

Thinking about bliss has reminded me now of how much I love the fall air and smells and taking a nap next to an open window. Here is a poem I wrote about this such act.

Nap Time In Autumn Air

There is something about a cool autumn day…
The crisp air steadies my mind.
The feeling of finishing some hard work feels more satisfying when finished.Anticipation for anything makes me excited.

Love seems more practical…….Friends calm my wonders.
Fall decorations always make me brake a smile of joy.
Just in autumn do I feel like this.
The true festive feeling of the “autumn harvest” is invested in me.
My mind yields crops as sundry as the tree’s colors.

Final Project - Bliss

My bliss in class project helped me clear a busy hive of thoughts and stressor interaction that is my brain. Once I had clear thought I took my damaged concived idea of stereo video collages to the next step. I love the idea for ideas where you think outside the box to get somthing going and then once you establish somthing think outside the box on that one more time! This is sideways thinking. Again, Take a conventional idea like fishing for example. Now think sideways or outside the box with what if questions form a new technique like using electricity to shock fish to the surface for example. Now think outside the box on that one more time and think if the fish are being shocked in the water why couldn't you use an electromagnet under water to attact the physical bodies of the fish according to the current that shocks them so you could collect them all at once for example.

Anyway I have started shooting my final project idea and I am going to think outside the box one more time once I have the footage captured.

What If Part II

What if... no one ever asked a question again?

If no one ever asked a question again learning in general would cease, understanding would falter, and evil would run rampant. People would return to nervous driven animals because after one generation passed without any learning the next generation would fallow only instinct or forward survival motion. The strongest would survive, but they would all be animals with no souls.

People should always ask questions that is the reason we learn its a spark. If no one ever asked any questions maybe even survival isn't an option because do you not sub consciously feel your stomach hurt in hunger and you ask why, Oh I’m hungry?? Questions must be philosophically the reason survival is possible.
